Metacognition

This session will give you an understanding of metacognition and how it relates to your work in the classroom and will look to dispel the myths surrounding metacognition. We will look at models for explicitly teaching metacognitive strategies, allowing pupils to monitor, plan, evaluate and regulate their performance whilst completing set tasks.
